New Bands Announced for Airwaves 2006

Five new foreign acts have added their names to the list of musicians perfoming this coming fall at Iceland Airwaves, names such as The Cribs, whomadewho, The Fields, with the Icelandic singer Þórunn Antonía, and Cold War Kids. This list also includes ten new Icelandic names such as Kira Kira, Idir and Worm is Green. Iceland Airwaves has been an annual music festival since 1999, and is sponsored by Icelandair.
